Dog Day – Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a ticket and attending Dog Day at Castle Hill Farm, guests agree to the following:
Dogs must be leashed and under the control of a responsible handler at all times. Retractable or standard leashes are permitted only when the dog can be safely controlled around other guests, children, animals, and dogs.
Dogs attending should be comfortable in a busy public environment. Any dog displaying aggressive, threatening, or unsafe behavior toward people, other dogs, or farm animals will be asked to leave immediately. Dogs exhibiting excessive or uncontrolled barking that disrupts the event or cannot be managed by their handler may also be asked to leave. Castle Hill Farm reserves the right to determine when a dog’s behavior presents a safety concern or significantly disrupts the event.
Owners are solely responsible for the behavior, supervision, and care of their dogs and must clean up after them. Please give other dogs appropriate space and do not allow your dog to approach another animal without the handler’s permission.
General Admission includes one dog per ticket. An Additional Dog Ticket is required for each additional dog.
Guests understand that Dog Day takes place on a working farm and may include uneven ground, farm animals, crowds, machinery, vehicles, and other dogs. By attending, guests voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with participating in the event and bringing a dog onto the property.
Castle Hill Farm is not responsible for injuries, incidents, or damages caused by a guest’s dog. Dog owners/handlers are responsible for any injury or property damage caused by their dog.
Participation in the costume contest is optional. By entering a dog in the contest, the owner gives Castle Hill Farm permission to photograph the dog for contest judging and event-related promotional purposes.
No refunds will be issued if a guest or dog is asked to leave due to unsafe, aggressive, or disruptive behavior.
